The drink-before-you-shoot rule is in play as usual, but there are no “turns,” so any team/player can shoot any ball at any time, including passing balls off to their teammates (if for instance their cup is made and they have to drink).
Same Cupping someone is always in play during Civil War, allowing a team to come from behind at any point by completely eliminating a player by making two balls into the same cup at the same time. That being said, a player can block the same shot attempt and give the other team the rollback (favorable to being shot out). Given the rapid-fire nature of the game, blocking the same shot attempt doesn’t have the same repercussions here that it does in Beer Pong.

This adds an additional element of strategy to the game, as it might make more sense to leave a player with 1 cup in the game so he won’t focus solely on rebounding after being shot out.
